Jell-o? More like Jell-WHOA!

I'm a sucker for a good slow-mo shot. There's just something fascinatingly elegant about seeing something that happens in the blink of an eye slowed down to several seconds. We're able to see things we'd never be able to with the naked eye.

The folks at Modernist Cuisine have put together a couple of clips of slow-mo food related items.

The first is a gelatin cube dropped onto a solid surface. Watch as the cube flops around in ways that almost make it look like a liquid:

Multitask 2

This game, has to be one of the hardest games I have ever played.

The idea behind "Multitask 2" is to play a minigame. Sounds easy, but as you continue playing a new minigame is added to the one you're already in the middle of. This game gets very stressful very quickly and you have to keep your eyes (and brain) on separate tasks.

The Art of Photography!

"A picture is worth a thousand words" is a saying I strongly believe in. I've always been fascinated with photography and recently I've become even more interested. I bought a Nikon D7000 last week and soon I'll be taking a photography course at Niagara College. I needed a place to store and display my pictures so I decided to get a flickr account. I chose this as today's Tuesday Tunes because it's a little bit different than most music videos, it's an official "lyrics video"

What's that you ask?

Think of it as a very cool, very stylized karaoke version of the song!

These types of music videos often come out before the official music video does. As is the case with Cee Lo Green's song "Fuck You"
